We'll be exploring this important and fascinating topic in an upcoming community call, featuring one of our Founding Mentors, G.Luca Oake.

Luca is a strategic advisor and mentor who works with individuals and organizations interested in growth, and someone I've been wanting to interview and highlight in our community for some time!

In this discussion, we're going to dive into some important topics, including:

What it was like for Luca to be diagnosed with PTSD at age 50.
What she learned from participating in 16 psychedelic therapy sessions.
Her struggle and journey of discovering her own gender identity, and how that's shaped the work she does in the world.
How many of us unintentionally do/say things that impact non-binary gender individuals, and what we can do to ensure we communicate in ways that are more empowering and helpful (this can be so simple, but so important).
What mental health professionals need to know to support patients who may also be working through gender identify issues.
How learning about gender identify can help others deepen their ability to connect with family, co-workers, and others (especially those working in the psychedelic space) AND evolve ourselves and perspectives of the world in meaningful ways.

This session will be extremely enlightening for individuals wanting to better understand gender identity and expand their effectiveness in working with others especially those involved in mental health or psychedelic therapy, who will likely encounter patients and clients working through these experiences.

G. Luca Oake is a creative, advisor, and coach based on Monterey, California, who works with professionals around the globe. As a gay, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming woman of color, Luca is a passionate advocate and guide for people grappling with a wide range of obstacles and barriers.

From overcoming mental health challenges to stepping into personal and creative power, Luca supports all kinds of humans and organizations with becoming stronger, brighter versions of themselves. Luca's life mission is to bring betterment and a little more beauty into this world.
