Meet Our Guest
Ifteyao Harvey is a trail-blazing writer, advocate and public speaker, whose work has been featured in the Huffington Post and on NPR. Her experience of growing up with her father in prison inspired her to get involved with drug policy reform work.
In 2013, she received a standing ovation for her presentation at the International Drug Policy Reform Conference in Denver, Colorado, and later joined the Drug Policy Alliance as a full time employee. She’s also worked closely with Rick Doblin and MAPS, as well as being a featured panelist at the “Research to Reality” Global Summit on Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Medicine”.
Ifetayo is known for her sharp insights concerning the war on drugs’ impact on communities of color and is the founder of the People of Color Psychedelic Collective (POCPC), which provides education and workshops for people of color interested in psychedelics and ending the war on drugs.
